LATINO LEADERSHIP PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOP
You are invited to attend a 1-day skill-building educational program presented by the Organizational Consulting Center at the
California School of Professional Psychology and Chaos Management, Ltd.
WHAT:
Join us for a highly interactive, Latino/a focused learning experience that will enhance your knowledge and skills for effective
leaderhip in your workplace. We will explore leadership styles, Latino/a identify, and its relationship to leadership styles, as well as explore and develop the most effective ways to build support networks.
WHY:
Participating in this workshop will allow you to:
Identify key aspects of your leadership style and those of others and assess their impact. Learn about the range of possible leadership styles and competencies and their relevance to Latino culture.
Relate aspects of your individual and Latino/a collective identify and culture to organizational effectiveness and
leadership. Develop a strategy for assessing and building your support networks.
WORKSHOP STAFF:
Bernardo M. Ferdman, Ph.D., Senior Consultant with
the Organizational Consulting Center at CSPP, has over 18 years experience as a consultant, teacher, and writer on issues of diversity and multiculturalism, ethnic and cultural identify in organizations, Latinos in
the workplace, and organizational behavior. He received his doctorate in psychology from Yale University.
Evangelina Holvino, Ed.D., President of Chaos Management, Ltd., received her doctorate degree in
organizational development at the University of Massachusetts. She has been working as a consultant and facilitator since 1979 both in the USA and internationally, specializing in group and organizational approaches
to social change. She taught at the School for International Training in Vermont.
