Evangelina Holvino

She is also an Affiliate Faculty at the Center for Gender in Organizations at the Simmons School of Management. Evangelina has over thirty years of experience as a consultant and educator both in the United States and internationally. She designs and facilitates change interventions in four major areas: global diversity and capacity building strategies; large group planning and problem solving meetings; collaboration across differences and conflict management; and career and leadership development for Hispanics and women of color in organizations. Some of her past clients include Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, Kraft Foods, Lucent Technologies, TJX Companies, J.P. Morgan Chase, Verizon, the University of Vermont Diversity and Equity Unite, the Carnegie Corporation, and the World Bank.
Dr. Holvino received her doctorate degree in organization development from the University of Massachusetts and has taught at the School for International Training and at the American University/NTL Master's of Science in Organization Development. Her current research and writing focus on the simultaneity of race, ethnicity, gender, and class, and the opportunities and challenges these differences create in organizations. Dr. Holvino is a 2005 recipient of the Anna Maria Arias award for Latina entrepreneurship and currently serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council of Novartis and the editorial advisory board of the Diversity Factor. She lives in Brattleboro, Vermont with her business and life partner James Cumming.
